Film screened for speech, hearing impaired

JALANDHAR: As many as 90 students of Red Cross School for Deaf and Dumb were taken to watch the special screening of the 3-D movie ‘Robot 2.

As many as 90 students of Red Cross School for Deaf and Dumb were taken to watch the special screening of the 3-D movie ‘Robot 2.0’ starring Rajnikant and Akshay Kumar today..

Inner Wheel Club, Jalandhar, organised the special screening for the disabled. However, unable to understand the audio of the movie, students enjoyed the movie by scanning the lips of the characters.

The students and teachers, were brought to the venue, PVR, by a special bus, sponsored by the Golden Temple Transportation. The children watched a 3-D movie for the first time. The students, after watching the movie, also reviewed it, and spoke about the ill-effects of mobile phones. Earlier, Inner-wheel Club had also given donations to the Red Cross School. — TNS
