Free treatment for poor drug addicts

JALANDHAR: The state government has announced free treatment for addicts at the de-addiction centres across the state.

Jalandhar, July 13

The state government has announced free treatment for addicts at the de-addiction centres across the state. A formal notification regarding this was released to all de-addiction centres.

As per the notification received by the de-addiction centre, Jalandhar, poor patients will get free treatment at the de-addiction centres. Addicts are paying Rs 250 per day for treatment, food and bed charges. Poor addicts will be exempted from paying these charges.

The de-addiction treatment will be free for blue card and yellow card holders.
