The responsibility for the sensational murder in Miani has been claimed by gangsters Jashal Chambal and Gurlal Rudiana. The claim was made through a post on social media platform, allegedly uploaded from Gurlal Rudiana’s account, in which the gangsters openly took responsibility for the crime.

In the post, the gangsters alleged that Balwinder Singh had been informing the police about their associates and had caused them losses. The post also carried a threat, warning that anyone maintaining relations with those opposing them would meet the same result. The post, however, was deleted from the account shortly after it surfaced.
