Wanna make this Valentine’s Day memorable? City-based couples have quite a few options in their to-do list starting from choosing a surprise gift to a nice dinner and even a Valentine’s Day-themed party.

Florists and gift shops in the city have already displayed a variety of gifts for the occasion, including rose sticks, bouquets, combos of flowers with chocolates, greeting cards, coffee mugs, customised water bottles, wallets, photo-frames, soft toys, heart-shaped cushions, figurine pieces, jewellery, perfumes, bodycare products, cakes, packed desserts and gift hampers.

Young women, girls and boys have already been scrolling through various gift items on display to have the best pick. “V-Day has to be with flowers and chocolates. It is only the packaging and the final look that matters these days,” said Zorawar Singh, a teenager. Suvreen Chadha, a college-goer, said, “There were so many options available online, so I shopped a unique gift combo and have even got it delivered. This time, several home delivery companies like Blinkit and Zomato too have played the cupid.”

Love is on the menu as almost all happening places and restaurants have done some makeovers for the day and planned some elevated dishes for the day. The Balcony Cafe and Grill has already put up a post on V-Day special dessert. The Backyard Farms, Nakodar Road, is holding a DJ party on the theme tomorrow evening.
