Speakers praised Bharti’s literary contributions and expressed confidence that he would continue to raise social awareness through his literary works. “A writer is the soul of society and plays a vital role in awakening people during challenging times. Bharti’s Ghazals beautifully weave together themes of love, affection, sincerity, sorrow, estrangement and friendship, offering messages of resilience and hope for every human being,” Dr Dheer said during his address.

Chawla described Bharti as a mature poet whose recitation leaves listeners with a deep sense of calm. Doaba Academy secretary Dr Yash Chopra remarked that Bharti’s Ghazals possess a captivating charm that brings joy to listeners. Sharing several personal anecdotes related to Bharti’s writing journey, Ravindra Singh Rai called him one of the finest poets in the present era. The ceremony was also addressed by ex-MC president Malkit Singh Raghavotra, Hindi poet Neeru Grover Pearl and others.
