Badminton players of Jalandhar have won medals in North Zone Junior PNB Metlife Championship that was concluded in Chandigarh on July 12.
Ishaan Sharma clinched the silver medal in U-13 category. Saanvi won the bronze medal in U-9 category and Zorawar Singh bagged the bronze medal in U-9 category.
The tournament was held from July 9 to July 12. Coaches Harjinder Singh and Varun Kumar of the Punjab Sports Department are imparting training to the winners at Raizada Hansraj Stadium. — TNS
