Jalandhar firing horror: Shots fired outside another doctor’s house within 24 hours
DCP Manpreet Dhillon says bike-borne assailant fired shots outside doctor’s house
Gunshots were fired outside the house of a doctor at the Mota Singh Nagar locality in Jalandhar on Saturday evening.
Notably, this was the second such incident reported in the city within 24 hours.
Seven to eight gunshots were fired outside the house of a veterinarian at the Santokhpura locality in the wee hours of Saturday.

Later in the evening, at 9:45 pm, another firing incident took place outside the house of the owner of Vardaan Hospital.
Four gunshots were fired, two of which hit the gate of the house.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Manpreet Dhillon, who reached the spot, said a man came on a bike and fired shots at the doctor’s house.
He said an FIR was registered and an investigation was initiated.
