The Health and Family Welfare Department of Jalandhar has achieved remarkable success in e-Governance, securing the second position in the ADR (Assistant District Registrar) ranking. This achievement highlights the department’s strong identity and efficient services in the realm of e-Governance.
From January 1, 2025, to December 12, 2025, the department demonstrated significant progress in the timely disposal of applications. Civil Surgeon Dr Rajesh Garg credited the efforts of Assistant Civil Surgeon and Additional District Registrar (ADR) Dr Jyoti Phokela, under whose leadership the team played a key role in this accomplishment.
A total of 23,838 applications were processed, with 21,933 disposed of on time, reflecting an impressive 92 per cent timely disposal rate. Dr Garg commended the team’s dedication, emphasizing that this performance underscores the department’s commitment to providing timely, transparent, and reliable services under e-Governance.
