Jalandhar youths win medals in Budokan Cup

JALANDHAR: Over five Jalandhar boys have won laurels in the recently held Budokan Cup 2018 for karate at Dubai.

Over five Jalandhar boys have won laurels in the recently held Budokan Cup 2018 for karate at Dubai. The boys have won four Gold medals, two silver and three bronze medals.

While informing more, Shihan Sanjay Gokal, founder chairman and managing director of Sanjay Karate Schools reminded students that it is better to compete in selected tournaments and win medals rather than participating in numerous competitions just for the sake of attending it.

While Gurmeen kaur and Yuvraj Gupta had won two gold medal each in the Kata and kumite category, Pratham Yadav and Uday Yash have won silver medals in the Kata category.

Uday also won a bronze medal in the Kumite category as well. Pratham Yadav also won a bronze medal in the Kumite competition.

All the five players are presently taking training from Sanjay karate Schools.
