JDA demolishes unauthorised colony near Hoshiarpur

HOSHIARPUR: A campaign launched against the illegal colonies by the Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA), an illegal commercial colony constructed on the Dholwaha Road, in Dosarka, was demolished with the help of JCB today.

Hoshiarpur, December 7

A campaign launched against the illegal colonies by the Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA), an illegal commercial colony constructed on the Dholwaha Road, in Dosarka, was demolished with the help of JCB today. Under the leadership of PUDA SDO Yadvinder Singh, a team of five members, including Palaning Officer Gurninder Singh; SDO Umesh Sharma; JE Balvir Singh, and JE Rakesh Kumar demolished the Colony.

They said: “The owner of the said colony will be found and the action will be initiated against him.”

The SDO warned the people of raising or buying plots in such colonies and said no one would be allowed to build any illegal colony.
