Kapil to make stunning entry into pandal

As the wedding bells of comedian Kapil Sharma and his college-time girlfriend Bhavneet Chatrath aka Ginni, will finally ring tomorrow evening at Cabbana Resorts here, the groom is set to make a stunning entry in the ‘pandal’.

Reportedly, Kapil Sharma will arrive at the resort in the morning. His ‘Sehra Bandi’ and other ceremonies will take place in one of the 20 rooms booked there.

He will come riding on a mare and make an entry from a 200-foot-long tunnel into the ‘Pandal’. Organisers of the event said a tunnel had been dug up and already decorated along the pool side of the venue.

There was complete lull today at the residence of Ginni Chatrath at Hardev Nagar here. Donning an orange-coloured traditional attire, the bride had last night attended a ‘Jagran’ function organised by Kapil at a hotel in Amritsar. Her videos sitting next to Kapil dressed in a black ‘Kurta’ went viral this morning. Both were seen having an interaction as singers Richa Sharma, Master Saleem and Lakhwinder Wadali recited religious hymns.

After the function, Ginni’s family too is learnt to have shifted to the hotel.Reportedly, Kapil’s friends from his comedy show, Sumona Chakravarti, Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh, too have reached the venue and were today rehearsing for their dance and comic performances.

Meanwhile, a ‘jugalbandi’ between Indian and foreign chefs for preparing a variety of dishes of Indian and foreign dishes started at the resort. Conveyer belts for serving and rotating food and drinks were laid out. Bacchus lovers can expect a lot of fun with a Delhi-based company engaged to handle the drinks corner with alcohol to be served in ice glasses.

Cabbana Resots had earlier hosted the wedding of cricketer Harbhajan Singh with actress Geeta Basra.
