Kaunsal joins SAD Punar Surjit

Former Punjab president of the Lok Insaaf Party (BC Wing) and former national president of the Ramgarhia Sikh Organisation India Hardev Singh Kaunsal along with his associates joined the Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit in the presence of Gyani Harpreet Singh, president of the party.

The event took place at a simple ceremony at Goniana Mandi, where Gyani Harpreet Singh welcomed Hardev Singh and his team with a Siropa.

Gyani Harpreet Singh highlighted the significance of his joining the party. He said, “The inclusion of Kaunsal is an important step toward promoting Panthic Unity and ideal politics. It proves that Akali leaders, who were dissatisfied with the Badal family’s mismanagement and left for other parties, are still connected to the traditional Akali spirit. Now, the path is open for their return to the Akali fold.”

In his address, Kaunsal expressed gratitude towards Gyani Harpreet Singh for his leadership and stated that the formation of Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit has provided a platform for disgruntled Akali workers, particularly those upset with the Badal family’s leadership. He assured his support in strengthening the party and connecting traditional Akali families with it.
