The 16th annual cricket tournament organised by the Siddha Shri Baba Balak Nath Ji Sports Club for the youth of Kokowal Majri village concluded with Kokowal emerging as the champions. The three-day tournament saw 32 teams compete for the top prize.

In the semi-finals, Sotra defeated Pandori Beet and Kokowal triumphed over Nangal Khurd to set up a thrilling final. Kokowal’s team defeated Sotra to clinch the title, winning a cash prize of Rs 31,000. Sotra, the runner-up, took home Rs 21,000.

Kokowal’s Tejinder was named man of the match, while Vansh Kochhar was awarded Best Batsman, Amar Sotra was recognised as the best bowler and Tarun was named the best fielder.

Prizes were presented by Somnath and other dignitaries, including Panch leader Ashok Kataria, Panch Madan Lal, Panch Gagan Kochhar, Rajan Kochhar, Shubh Rana, Radhey Kauchhar, Gurdeep Soni, Harsh Kataria, Jaspal, Kala Numberdar and Subhash.
