On a call given by the District Bar Association, Bathinda, members of the Bar Association, Phagwara, boycotted work yesterday. They said: “Lawyers of Phagwara are supporting the lawyers of Bathinda who have been protesting against the Bathinda police for registering a case against former Bathinda) Bar Association president Navdeep Singh Jeeda. They were demanding the cancellation of a case registered against Navdeep Jeeda and sought action against police constable Ranjit Singh for manhandling Jeeda. — OC
