Literary festival on Feb 24 at varsity

The Yayavar Literary Organisation is going to organise the Jalandhar Literary Festival on February 24 at the Lovely Professional University (LPU), near here.

The festival will be held in association with the LPU and the Rotary Club.

The founder president of the organisation Nupur Sandhu said after the successful literary festival in Jammu, which was held in December, she along with her team planned the fest for Jalandhar too.

She said the one-day fest would start at 10:30 am. Anup Soni of Crime Patrol fame would be the special guest on the occasion.

Nupur said a team of Crime Patrol was coming for a panel discussion.

Besides, a session on Amrita Pritam, ‘Meri-Teri Amrita’ and ‘Kashmir Ki Kahani’ would be held.

Sorabh Lakhanpal, Dean Student Welfare, LPU, would be the speaker.

Harjit, director and producer of Punjabi films, Jasleen Kaur, founder of Winged Soul and creative director of Yayavar, among others, would speak about literature.

Panellists, speakers and authors, who are going to be the part of the literary festival, are coming from Mumbai, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ludhiana and Jalandhar.
