LPU donates 14 laptops

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has donated 14 laptops to four NGOs, including Spinal Cord Injury Association (SCIA), Saksham, Gyandeep Teaching Project, and Aaghaaz in collaboration with Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.

The SCIA is a step towards creating a safe, comfortable and happy home for wheelchair-borne persons and Saksham empowers people with blindness. Gyandeep Teaching Project is an initiative of the LPU-NSS that promotes education in slums of the city and the villages adopted by the LPU-NSS.

A group of 13 students and teachers from Cardiff Metropolitan University were at LPU under the student exchange programme. — OC
