Looking at the good results in Class X and XII, the Education Department has asked district education officers (secondary and primary) to convert government schools into smart ones.
In the circular forwarded to the DEOs, the department has said efforts must be made to convert the remaining schools into smart ones.
The letter reads that around 2,600 high schools, primary schools and senior secondary schools are already smart and these schools have given quality education too and this has resulted in great results this year.
The circular further reads that it must be noted that training must be given at the block level in one of the smart schools to other principals and teachers.
WhatsApp groups must be created to share discussions and initiatives. Already government school teachers have made WhatsApp groups on which they share pictures and videos regarding the smart schools in their respective districts.
