Jalandhar, December 7
A Kartarpur resident, Dimple Kartarpuria, was shot dead this evening at his shop on Gangsar Road. While the victim was taken to a hospital, he was declared brought dead.
As per information, the 35-year-old victim had several cases registered against him in various incidents of clashes.
Police sources said two youths, with their faces covered, came on a motorcycle and entered his shop. After firing shots at him, they immediately fled the spot.
The incident occurred late this evening. The police are yet to trace the miscreants. Investigation is on in the matter. — TNS
