Medal winners of the Punjab Police Equestrian team were felicitated today at PAP Campus, Jalandhar, following their impressive performance at the 44th All India Police Equestrian Championship and Mounted Police Duty Meet-2026 held at the Border Security Force Academy, Tekanpur, Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh).

The team was honoured by MF Farooqui, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, State Armed Police, Jalandhar. Congratulating the riders and officials, he lauded their dedication, discipline, and outstanding display of horsemanship at the national-level championship. Special appreciation was extended to Inderbir Singh, DIG (Administration) and Team Manager, who was also among the medal winners.

The Punjab Police Equestrian team delivered a remarkable performance, securing a total of 10 medals - 2 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze - and clinching the overall third position among 19 participating teams representing various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and State Police Equestrian teams.
