“Public service and timely support to affected families are our top priorities during any crisis,” he said. He said the Punjab Government’s Revenue Department prepared special girdawari and damage assessment reports to quickly identify households whose homes were partially or fully damaged in the floods. Based on these reports, the approval process was completed without delay.

Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Jimpa added, “Under the Chief Minister’s leadership, relief and rehabilitation work is being done in a transparent and fast manner.” He also assured the beneficiaries that the aid amount would be directly transferred to their bank accounts, eliminating any chance of delays or middlemen.

The MLA appreciated the patience and trust shown by the affected families throughout the process. “The faith of the people gives us strength during disasters. Together, we will rebuild and make our area stronger than before,” he said. — OC
