MLA launches children’s magazine

MLA Dr Raj Kumar launched ‘Children’s Magazine’, at the elementary school of Chabbewal, today.

Terming it a unique initiative taken by the Education Department, he lauded the teachers, who encouraged the students to contribute to it and worked to bring the magazine into existence .

Going through the handwritten and self-designed magazine, consisting drawings, cartoons and poems, Dr Raj asked students to recite poems, to which kids cheerfully responded.

The MLA hailed the efforts put in by teachers, who helped students in compiling the magazine.

Dr Raj said: “This will help nurturing the overall development of young minds and upbringing the quality of education at primary government schools.”

“It is important to provide equal opportunities to the students studying at the government schools, in all fields, enabling them to pave the way to success in life,” added Dr Raj.
