Mystery shrouds man’s death

Nawanshahr, February 19

The body of a 35-year-old man was found under mysterious circumstances on the outskirts of Bhora village here today.

The deceased has been identified as Balvir Ram of Nawanshahr.

As per information, local residents informed the police about the incident. After getting the information, a police team from Banga Sadar rushed to the spot.

Police officials said earlier, it seemed like a drug overdose death but then a doctor was consulted in the matter and it was found that the injections, which were found near his body, were prescribed to him by some doctor.

The body was handed over to his family members after conducting the post-mortem examination.

However, the police officials said the exact cause of death would be known after the arrival of the autopsy report.

Village residents have been suspecting that the reason behind the victim’s death was drug overdose as injections were found near his body.
