Officers get tips on emergency health care

JALANDHAR: District administration along with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Sunday organised a special workshop of Basic Life Support under the Tandarust Punjab Mission to acquaint officers about providing emergency health care to the needy.

District administration along with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Sunday organised a special workshop of Basic Life Support under the Tandarust Punjab Mission to acquaint officers about providing emergency health care to the needy.

During the workshop organised by the IMA at the local Guru Nanak College, a team of doctors led by IMA President Mukesh Gupta gave demonstration to the officials about the steps to be taken in case of any sort of medical emergency around them. Dr Gupta said that such basic life support given to patients within five minutes of attack could prove to be a boon for the patient.
