Over 150 students take part in fashion show

The CT Group organised ‘Navya Kriti’, an inter-college fashion show, on Friday. The event brought together over 150 students from more than 15 institutions in Punjab. It highlighted creativity and innovation, on the theme ‘best from trash’ showcasing unique designs that promoted sustainability.

The winning teams displayed exceptional talent. CT University secured the first position, CT Institute of Hospitality Management, Shahpur (Fashion Design), took the second place, and Gulzar Group of Institutions stood third.

The participating institutions included Chandigarh University, Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, HMV College, KMV College, CGC Jhanjeri, GNDU Amritsar, and others. Rachel Gupta, Miss Grand India 2024, and Miss Super Talent of the World, 2022, graced the event as the chief guest and judge.

Other judges included designer and style expert Punit Arora, renowned CKC Studio expert Pankaj Thakur and acclaimed fashion designer Tanya Kotnala — founder of Bhuli Design Studio. Other esteemed judges were professional makeup artists Chandan and Vani, along with Princy Seth, who brought their expertise to evaluate the participants’ exceptional creativity and innovation.

The event was attended by CT Group’s managing director Manbir Singh, Vice-Chairman Harpreet Singh, campus director Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, and Principal CTIHM Divoy Chhabra, who congratulated the participants and winners for their creativity and performance.
