Panchayat poll: Admn designates places for filing nominations

The district administration has earmarked places for candidates where they could file their nomination papers in the panchayat elections.

Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said for villages falling in Jalandhar East (1) candidates could file their nomination papers at the Corporation Office, near Pathankot bypass, for villages in Jalandhar East (2) office of the Horticulture Department in Jalandhar Cantonment, Regional Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (North Zone), Ladowali Road, for villages in Jalandhar East (3), agriculture office, Ladowali road, for villages in Jalandhar East (4- 5-7) and office of the Animal Husbandry Department, Ladowali road for the villages in Jalandhar East (6).

For villages in Adampur (1-2-3-8), the office of the Adampur BDPO, Municipal Council Adampur for villages in Adampur (5), GSSS, Gazipur, for villages in Adampur (5-7) and Civil Veterinary Hospital for Adampur (6).

The Janta Co-Operative Sugar Mill, Bhogpur, for villages in Bhogpur (1-5), for Bhogpur (2-4-6) office of Municipal Council, the office of Secretary Market Committee for Bhogpur (3), Additional PSPCL office for Bhogpur (7) and sub-Tehsil for Bhogpur (8).
