Jalandhar: PCS officer Aaditya Gupta shines at golf tourney, clinches overall title

PCS Officer Aaditya Gupta, who is currently posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate Shahkot and Staff Officer to Commissioner Jalandhar Division, clinched the overall trophy in the Jurists and Civil Services Golf Tournament held at Chandigarh Golf Club.

The tournament witnessed participation of more than 90 civil servants and judicial officials from North Indian states, including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh. Gupta emerged victorious and received the trophy from the Governor of Haryana, Ashim Kumar Ghosh, who presided over the presentation.

On Thursday, SDM Aaditya Gupta met Jalandhar Divisional Commissioner Ramvir and Deputy Commissioner Dr Himanshu Aggarwal, who congratulated him on this rare feat. Gupta has been playing on the Indian National Golf Tour for the past 15 years. He has currently featured in the merit list of National Amateur players issued by Indian Golf Union.
