Continuing with its long-standing mission of providing affordable and quality healthcare to the underprivileged, Shri Vishwakarma Charitable Hospital, Phagwara, has strengthened its dialysis services with the installation of a second machine at its dialysis centre. The new machine has been installed through the collective efforts of hospital trustee Sukhdev Singh Chaggar, M/s EMCO Manufacturing Company, and the support of Non-Resident Indians Rajesh Kumar and Sant Singh from the United States.

Speaking on the occasion, Trust president Pradeep Dhiman recalled that the dialysis centre at Shri Vishwakarma Charitable Hospital was established with the installation of its first dialysis machine, which was also made possible through dedicated efforts of trustee Sukhdev Singh Chaggar. He expressed sincere gratitude to all donors and supporters, stating that the hospital’s humanitarian work continues to progress steadily due to consistent cooperation from philanthropists, NRIs, and socially responsible organisations.

Dhiman said the hospital had, over the years, emerged as a reliable healthcare institution for economically weaker sections in Phagwara and the surrounding areas. The hospital offered quality medical treatment at highly subsidised rates, ensuring that no patient was deprived of healthcare due to financial constraints, he said.

“Various departments of the hospital are equipped with modern medical infrastructure, while its diagnostic laboratory houses advanced machines capable of conducting a wide range of tests at minimal cost,” he said.

He further informed that the hospital regularly upgrades its medical facilities in line with emerging healthcare needs. “Apart from dialysis services, the hospital provides outpatient and inpatient care, specialist consultations, and emergency support through qualified doctors and trained paramedical staff,” he said.

The emphasis, he said, remains on ethical medical practices, patient dignity, and compassionate care.

Highlighting the importance of the newly installed dialysis machine, Dhiman said, “The additional facility will significantly reduce patient waiting time and improve the quality of care for kidney patients requiring regular dialysis.” He appealed to needy patients to take full advantage of the hospital’s dialysis centre, which operates with the objective of providing life-saving treatment at affordable rates.

Several trustees, medical professionals, and prominent members of the community were present on the occasion.

The hospital management reiterated that sustained support from donors and the Indian diaspora remains vital for expanding charitable healthcare services and reaffirmed its commitment to serving humanity with dedication and transparency.
