PPCC SC Dept burns effigies of PM Modi

CHABBEWAL (HOSHIARPUR): Chairman of the PPCC SC department and Chabbewal MLA Raj Kumar, criticised the recent incidents of disrespect to the Constitution by torching its copies.

Chairman of the PPCC SC department and Chabbewal MLA Raj Kumar, criticised the recent incidents of disrespect to the Constitution by torching its copies.

On a call by Raj Kumar, the SC dept held protests and burn effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in all districts of the state. Dr Raj held the Prime Minister responsible for the same and other incidents of riots and atrocities.

He alleged Modi was playing politics of religion.

The Chabbewal MLA said the Constitution was not meant for one caste or religion and we should save and respect it. Dr Raj also burnt the effigy of Narendra Modi with his supporters at Chabbewal and filed a complaint at the Chabbewal police station to arrest people involved in the treason.

He was accompanied by district SC department chairman Mohinder Singh Mall, Shivranjan Singh Romy, Krishan Gopal, Gagan, Chiranji Lal Bihala, Dr Baldev Jatpur, Gopi Bham and Jaswinder Thakkarwal, among others.
