Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sampla said: “On the birth anniversary function of Guru Ravidas, held in Varanasi today the Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, laid the foundation stones of different works at the birth place of Guru Ravidas.”
Expressing his gratitude to the PM, Sampla said: “The PM laid the foundation stone for extending the temple. The Prime Minister has also laid the foundation stone for building a park on 33 acres and an idol of Guru Ravidas will be installed at the park.”
“It will help the ‘Sangat’ to perform ‘Satsang’ in the same open park. Besides the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for building a community hall,” he added. Sampla said the demand of beautifying the courtyard was being raised for decades, but not any government did it.
Sampla thanked the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of UP, Yogi Adityanath.
