Sarv Naujawan Sabha honours distinguished educators in Phagwara
A Teacher’s Day celebration was organised by the Sarv Naujawan Sabha headed by Sukhwinder Singh today. Seven distinguished educationists were honoured on the occasion for their contribution to society. The event, held at Government Senior Secondary School of Eminence (Boys), was graced by Phagwara Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anupam Kaler as the chief guest. In her address, Kaler emphasised the vital role teachers play in building a better society, noting that they not only impart education but also instill values and a sense of responsibility in students from an early age.
The teachers honoured include Master Anoop Singh from Government Primary School Tibbi, Tarun Talwar and Engineer Varinder Pabbi from RIET, Kuldeep Singh Bajwa from the School of Eminence for Boys, Hindi teacher Renu Anand, Sangeeta, and Tanu, who specialises in hair and skin care.
The event also recognised the academic achievement of Dipu Tiwari, who recently secured admission to AIIMS Jharkhand after clearing the NEET exam. Tiwari was felicitated by the Sabha for his exceptional accomplishment. The programme saw various dignitaries in attendance, including Pawandeep Beesla, Deputy Chief Engineer, Powercom Jalandhar, and AAP district president Santosh Kumar Gogi.
School principal Ranjit Kumar Gogna said that the event had brought pride to the school and its faculty.
