More than 300 students from schools across Punjab participated and displayed their interactive and innovative models during the event. Dr Rajesh Grover, Director, Science City, in his address said that creativity emerges from three elements working together—knowledge, curiosity and imagination which collectively drive innovation. He stated that a stronger knowledge base and an eagerness to learn make it easier to develop great ideas. However, knowledge alone does not guarantee creativity. He stressed the importance of providing young minds with the space to think freely so they can produce meaningful outcomes for the welfare of society.
