Special EU meet to prepare for events to mark Guru Ravidass’ 650th Parkash Purab
The meeting was chaired by BJP national general secretary and president Satguru Ravidas Vishwa Mahapeeth
A special meeting was held in the European Union (EU) Parliament (Belgium) to prepare for the upcoming events to celebrate the 650th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas, due next year. The initiative was of the BJP whose leaders Dushyant Gautam and Rajesh Bagha participated in various meetings in this regard.
The meetings were held to plan for the diaspora celebrations of the 650th Parkash Purab of Guru Ravidass, the first in a series of meetings on the issue. The next meeting shall be held on February 22.
Former Chairman of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission and Vice-President, state BJP Rajesh Bagha, also the chief patron of the Pathway Global Alliance and National President of the British Ravidasiya Heritage Foundation (United Kingdom) told the press that social leaders from Europe and India participated in an important meeting to prepare for the upcoming events for the occasion.
The meeting was chaired by BJP national general secretary and president, Satguru Ravidas Vishwa Mahapeeth, Dushyant Kumar Gautam and was chaired by the EU and Polish leaders, including Grzegorz Braun (MP), Member of the European Parliament, Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET).
The conference organiser was Ryszard Czarnecki, former Vice-President of the European Parliament; Conference Chairs were Roman Fritz - Polish Member of Parliament (Sejm), Wlodzimierz Szczylik - Polish Member of Parliament (Sejm), Slawomir Zwislak - Polish Member of Parliament (Sejm), Dr Slawomir Ozdik - Expert, Ireneus Jablonski - Economist, Expert, Jake Stilo - Polish entrepreneur and Uday Sood from India, general secretary, Pathway Global Alliance.
Also present were Sant Baba Sukhpreet Singh, resident dera head, Dera Sant Baba Ghaas Singh Ji and Sant Baba Satnam Singh, Narur, Phagwara, Punjab India.
Leaders said on February 22, a special meeting would be held in Europe, in which President British Ravidasiya Heritage Foundation (United Kingdom) Om Prakash Bagha and Secretary Rajesh Bagha, Former Chairman Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission and Vice President, BJP (Punjab) as well as chief patron Pathway Global Alliance and national president British Ravidasiya Heritage Foundation (United Kingdom) and other Indian and European social leaders would be present.
