Students showcase technical drafting skills & creativity at AutoCAD contest
On the occasion of National Science Day–2026, an Intra-Department AutoCAD drawing competition was organised at Mehr Chand Polytechnic College under the guidance of principal Dr Jagroop Singh and the leadership of Dr Rajeev Bhatia, Head of the Civil Engineering Department.
A total of eight students participated enthusiastically in the competition and showcased their technical drafting skills and creativity in AutoCAD. The event aimed to enhance practical knowledge and promote technical excellence among students.
The competition was judged by a distinguished panel comprising Sh. Sushant from the Mechanical Department, Sahil from the Automobile Department, and Sh. Jaspal from the Civil Engineering Department.
As per the results, Agam Kumar secured the first position, Balraj Singh secured the Second Position and Jatin Atwal secured the third position. The certificates were distributed to the winners.
Principal Dr Jagroop Singh congratulated all the winners and participants for their commendable performance. The event successfully reflected the spirit of scientific innovation and technical learning celebrated on National Science Day.
