Yuvraj's mother, Meena Kanwar and uncle, Vikram Singh Kanwar, stated that Yuvraj secured his place in IIT without the help of any coaching.

Meena Kanwar added that Yuvraj had always dreamed of pursuing higher education at an Indian Institute of Technology, a goal he has now fulfilled. She noted that Yuvraj used to sleep only five to six hours daily, dedicating his nights to studying. Mahant Rajgir blessed Yuvraj for a bright future.
