Teachers apprised of need for quality edu

A faculty development programme was organised at GGDSD College, Hariana.

Narendra Agarwal, master facilitator, Gurukul Drona, Ludhiana, apprised faculty members of the need of quality education in the highly informative workshop. He elaborated on various topics such as public speaking, teaching methodology and various problems in the educational sector and also proposed various solutions. The speaker said we all had an opportunity to prepare for tomorrow and to be the agents of change. He also explained the trends in education. It was an interactive discussion and participants were given creative assignments to perform and showcase their talent and problem solving techniques.

Principal Dr Gurdip Kumar Sharma, general secretary, SD Education Board and manager of all schools in the district, proposed a vote of thanks. He also gave away certificates to all participants. Dr Desh Bandhu, working president, SD Education Board, thanked the guests and encouraged teachers to do laudable work in the field of education. Teachers of GGDSD Senior Secondary School, Hariana; SD Senior Secondary School, Bassi Daulat Khan; Chaman Lal Katyal SD Playway School, Hariana; and SD Co-educational School, Sham Chaurasi, attended the workshop.
