A three-day short-term course organised by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research Chandigarh concluded at Mehr Chand Polytechnic College. The course was conducted on the theme “Instructional Design and Delivery.”
The sessions were delivered by Prof AB Gupta, Head of the Education Management Department at NITTTR Chandigarh, along with Amandeep Kaur.
Principal Mehr Chand Polytechnic College Dr Jagroop Singh informed that 30 teachers from various colleges participated in the programme. The course covered important topics such as Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Education 4.0, Bloom’s Taxonomy, major learning conditions, classroom management and systematic events of instruction to make the teaching-learning process more effective. Discussion was also held on NBA accreditation.
Prof Gupta collected feedback and conducted tests after each lecture to assess participants’ understanding. On the concluding day, during the valedictory ceremony, Prof Dr Prem Sagar from HMV inspired the participants with motivational songs.
Dr Rajeev Bhatia served as the Programme Coordinator, while Prince Madaan performed the duties of Co-Coordinator. The role of stage anchor was also carried out by Dr Rajeev Bhatia.
In his concluding remarks, Principal Dr Jagroop Singh thanked the resource persons and participants, stating that the programme enhanced teachers’ confidence and that more such courses should be organised in the future. He also honoured Prof AB Gupta and Dr Prem Sagar for their valuable contribution.
