Three of the NCC students from LPU, Navneet Singh, Aman Sharma and Abhishek Sharma, are going to participate in the 75th National Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi. The students have been adjudged among the best NCC cadets of the country after 100 days of camp training. All of them belong to BTech Computer System Technologies (CSE) programmes, where Aman Sharma of third year is ranked Senior Under Officer (SUO); Abhishek also of third year is Under Officer (UO); and, Navneet of second year is Corporal (Cpl).

The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, has selected the LPU students in the toughest competition from among lakhs of student volunteers who participated from across five zones of the country.
