Two arrested for kidnapping migrant’s son

The Shahkot police have arrested two miscreants on the charge of kidnapping a boy. The accused have been identified as Jagroop Singh, alias Roopa, of Basti Dera Baba Gulab Dass under the Dharam Kot police station in Moga and Gurpreet Singh, alias Sonu, a resident of Kaila village under Dharam Kot police station.
Jabbar Singh, a native of Madhya Pradesh and presently living at Slaichan village, complained to the police that the accused kidnapped his son Krishna.
A case under Section 140(3) (kidnapping with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine a person) and 3(5) (acts done by several persons in furtherance of the common intention) of the (BNS) have been registered against the accused.
