Vishwakarma Day celebrated with gusto

PHAGWARA:Vishwakarma Day was celebrated with fervour here today.



Phagwara, November 8 

Vishwakarma Day was celebrated with fervour here today. Owners of factories performed ‘Traditional puja’ along with their workers. They paid tributes to Lord Vishwakarma.

They washed machines and tools of their factories.

The day was celebrated by Shri Vishawkarma Dhiman Sabha, at ‘Vishwakarma Mandir’ on the Banga Road. 

Union Minister of State Vijay Sampla, former minister Joginder Singh Maan, Som Parkash, MLA, Phagwara and other prominent residents of the city also participated in the celebrations.

 Vijay Sampla said Lord Vishwakarma was the divine architect of the universe.

Sampla donated Rs two lakh to the temple. — OC
