Jalandhar: Faculty of St Soldier College of Law participated in a webinar on the theme Ambience of Justice Delivery System organised by academic organisation Beyond Law CLC Chandigarh. Advocate Vikas Chatrath hosted the proceedings. Justice SD Anand and Dr Subhash Sharma, Director, St Soldier Law College were the experts. The students and faculty of St Soldier Law College and advocates of Punjab Haryana High Court attended the webinar. Justice SD Anand dealt the theme from the working of courts, court judgments, recruitments of judges and public prosecutors. He suggested some meaningful amendments in the court procedures to make justice delivery system in the country.
Karanjit second in quiz contest
Lyallpur Khalsa College felicitated Karanjit Singh, a student of BSc (Non Medical) Sem-V, for securing second position in the district-level quiz competition organised by the Jalandhar District Election Officer regarding model code of conduct. Participating in the contest through the online mode, he secured the second position at the district-level competition with participants from the entire district of Jalandhar, Punjab.
