Prabhjot allegedly convinced Kamaljit Kaur that her son Rajat would be sent to Italy and took Rs2.30 lakh from her. Similarly, Dalvir Singh claimed that the accused took Rs 2.80 lakh from him with the assurance of sending his son Gagandeep abroad.

However, the complainants alleged that the accused neither arranged the promised travel, nor refunded the funds. Suspecting fraud, both parties approached the authorities and filed complaints on July 8, 2025.
