Youths donate blood at camp in Phagwara

Jai Bhim United Voice of Punjab, a social organisation, organised its first blood donation camp under the guidance of founder president Dr Harjinder Singh Jakhu. The camp was held at Jakhu Hospital in collaboration with Doaba Blood Bank, Jalandhar, under the leadership of State Coordinator Eng. Happy Kaul and District President Ashwini Baghaniya.

A total of 20 youths voluntarily donated blood during the camp and fulfilled their social responsibility. On this occasion, Dr Harjinder Singh Jakhu, Principal Keval Singh, Malkeat Singh Raghbotra (President, Blood Bank Guru Hargobind Nagar), Sai Balkar Sabri, and Kishore Kumar Chahal were specially present.

Dr Harjinder Singh Jakhu said that blood donation does not have any harmful effect on the human body; rather, it gives a new life to those in need. He also announced that the organisation will continue such social service initiatives and will organise five blood donation camps annually. He thanked all dignitaries and donors for making the camp successful.

Several dignitaries and members including Sanjeev Moolnivasi, Gurdeep Kumar Guraia, Lavi Panch, Kulwinder Balalon, Suresh Salhotra, Gurdayal Singh Mananwale and Paramjit Jakhu were also present on the occasion.
