RAJOURI: Twelve persons were injured in two road mishaps in Rajouri district.

Rajouri, October 16

Twelve persons were injured in two road mishaps in Rajouri district. All of them were rescued and taken to Government Medical College and Associated Hospital in Rajouri.

Six persons were injured when a Tata Mobile vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in the district in the morning today. The injured have been identified as Mohammad Bashir (30), Mohammad Nasir (25), both residents of Dalyot, Mohammad Bashir (30), Mohammad Rashid (25), Nek Chand (55), all residents of Sialsui and Mohammad Jubaid (42), a resident of Panhar.

In another mishap, a mini bus overturned in the vicinity of the under-construction Hamilton bridge. Six persons were injured in the mishap. Four of them were hospitalised. They included Muneet Sharma (34), Sushma Devi (34), Santosh Devi (48) and Mohammad Alyas (35). — OC
