30 technicians taught how to repair gadgets

RAJOURI: Under the Technical Quality Improvement Programme-IIIand in collaboration with Aligarh Muslim University, the School of Engineering and Technology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), organised a seven-day workshop on ‘Maintenance and repairing of electronic gadgets’.

Under the Technical Quality Improvement Programme-IIIand in collaboration with Aligarh Muslim University, the School of Engineering and Technology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), organised a seven-day workshop on ‘Maintenance and repairing of electronic gadgets’.

“The objective of the programme is to train the technical staff of BGSBU in identifying the faults and repair the electronic devices/gadgets like computers, function generators, power supply, micro-processor kits, TFTs and CROs,” said a university spokesman.

Thirty employees, including senior technical assistants, laboratory technicians, computer assistants and assistant programmers were provided hands on training during the workshop and around 50 electronic machines were rectified and many faulty devices were diagnosed.

In a message to the organisers, Prof Javid Mussarat, ViceChancellor, said: “The organisations which understand the true value of professional development, culture, innovation and creativity also recognise the value of continuously developing their employee base”. — OC
