Adhira selected for national skating championship

JAMMU: Adhira Kanotra, a Class II student of Jesus Cares Convent School, has been selected for the national roller skating championship, to be held in Visakhapatnam, in December this year.

Adhira Kanotra bagged three gold medals at a state-level championship at Shiva Roller Skating Institute, Peerkho.

Adhira Kanotra, a Class II student of Jesus Cares Convent School, has been selected for the national roller skating championship, to be held in Visakhapatnam, in December this year.

She was selected on the basis of her medal winning performance at the state-level championship at Shiva Roller Skating Institute, Peerkho, from September 26 to 29. Adhira bagged three gold medals.

In the Quad category of the 7 to 9 years age group, Adhira bagged gold each in, 500 meters D, 500 meters road and 1,000 meters race, respectively. Participants from all over the state participated in different discipline including, speed, artistic, roller hockey and inline hockey.
