Jammu: A lecture on ‘safe driving’ was organised by the Army at Kalsian village of Rajouri district on Monday. The aim of this lecture was to create road safety awareness and inculcate sense of responsibility among locals. The campaign aimed at promulgating safe driving skills with special emphasis on hill drivers. In all, 30 drivers and commuters from the village attended the lecture. The Army emphasised on the point that with an increase in the number of road accidents, the need of the hour was to practice responsible behaviour on road and follow defensive driving. TNS
