J&K Bank biz unit, ATMs opened in summer capital

Srinagar: A new business unit and an ATM of J&K Bank was inaugurated at Palpora, Noorbagh, here on Tuesday. Another ATM was opened on the premises of the Modern Hospital. J&K Bank executive president Abdul Rashid Sheigan inaugurated the ATM along with Modern Hospital MD Muzaffar Ahmad Jan. Sheigan said the bank was conscious about the growing number of people visiting places such as hospitals in the city. Meanwhile, J&K Bank zonal head, Kashmir Central 1, Tabasum Nazir inaugurated the new business unit and ATM at Palpora in the presence of cluster head Fayaz Ahmad Malik and business unit head Tashoq Ahmad. Nazir instructed the branch staff to sensitise the locals about various beneficiary schemes such as ‘Ladli Beti’, flexi deposit and conduct campaigns to educate them about digital delivery channels like mPAY app rolled out by the bank.
