Srinagar, December 7

Prominent Kashmir businessman Mubeen Shah, detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA) ahead of  abrogation of Article 370,  was released today on a “temporary”  basis.

A former president of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries, he was lodged in Agra jail and released after a communication from the Home Department, his relatives said. Shah was received by his brother Niyaz, who had moved the Supreme Court. — TNS
