Need to maintain harmony: Sikhs

Srinagar: The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee on Thursday asked people across the country, especially those living in the northern states, to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood at every cost.

Srinagar: The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee on Thursday asked people across the country, especially those living in the northern states, to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood at every cost. In a statement, committee chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina said, “People who visited Kashmir in the recent past as tourists should take the initiative and come up as ambassadors of peace. It is highly unfortunate that Kashmiris are being targeted in different parts of the country for no fault of theirs. As elections are approaching, political parties will try their best to exploit the emotions of people. The situation has led to hardships to people of Kashmir putting up in various states of India.” TNS
