Omar congratulates Gehlot, Pilot

SRINAGAR: National Conference (NC) vice-president Omar Abdullah on Friday congratulated Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, who were designated as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, respectively, of Rajasthan.

National Conference (NC) vice-president Omar Abdullah on Friday congratulated Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, who were designated as the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, respectively, of Rajasthan.

Omar in a tweet congratulated the two leaders and wished them success “in giving the people of Rajasthan the government they deserve”.

“Congratulations to Ashok Gehlot ji and Sachin Pilot for taking up the responsibilities of CM and Deputy CM of Rajasthan, respectively. Together may they succeed in giving the people of Rajasthan the government they deserve,” Omar said.

Omar had also congratulated another senior Congress leader Kamal Nath, who had on Thursday assumed the office of the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
